The Attic Theatre Presents All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten
Bellevue, WA. The Attic Theatre will present Robert Fulghum's heartwarming
classic, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten. This delightful
musical adaptation spotlights the important values of life, as revealed through
charming vignettes and songs that touch the heartstrings and cause one to laugh,
cry, and reflect.
Over 15 million copies of Robert Fulghum's books are currently in print. The
bestselling author, philosopher, teacher, artist, and musician resides part-time
in Seattle.
All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten will open mid-June, 2008, at
the Theater at Meydenbauer Center, 11100 NE 6th, Bellevue, Washington, (425)
637-1020. Performances are scheduled for Friday, June 13th at 7:30 p.m. with an
opening night gala; Saturday, June 14th at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, June 15th at 2:30
p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Wednesday, June 18th at 7:30 p.m. (pay what you can);
Thursday, June 19th and Friday, June 20th at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, June 21st at
2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, June 22nd at 2:30 p.m.
The show is directed by Jane Reinhardt and co-directed by Julia Harrison, with
musical direction by Sue Timpe.
Tickets are $25 general, $20 seniors/students, and $15 for groups of ten or

*The Attic Theatre Presents Sense and Sensibility*

*Bellevue, WA. * By special arrangement, The Attic Theatre will
present the West Coast premiere of Jane Austen's *Sense and
Sensibility,* as adapted by Ashley J. Barnard. Set in Regency
England, Austen's beloved novel depicts life
for women controlled by the social conventions of the day, in
which they are forced to secure good marriages to escape poverty.
Two sisters, Elinor and Marianne Dashwood, undergo heartbreak and
betrayal by the men in their lives, until they encounter lasting love.
This original adaptation by Ashley Barnard was first performed in
2002 and directed by Ms. Barnard, an actress and author of four
novels. A 1995 movie, based on an adaptation by Emma Thompson and
starring Ms. Thompson, Kate Winslet, Hugh Grant, and Alan
Rickman, was an Oscar winning hit.
*Sense and Sensibility * will open Valentine's Day weekend,
February, 2008, at the Theater at Meydenbauer Center, 11100 NE
6th, Bellevue, Washington, (425) 637-1020. Performances are
scheduled for Friday, the 15th and 22nd at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday,
the 16th and 23rd at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, the 17th at
2:00 and 6:00 p.m.; Thursday, the 21st at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday,
the 24th at 2:00 p.m.
The show stars Lorrie Fargo, Heather McRobbie, Corey McDaniel,
and Jeffrey Stephens. It is directed by Mark Lewis and assisted
by Jane Reinhardt.
